Enriching our worship

Worship in the Season after the Epiphany

During the season after the Epiphany, we will use the Enriching Our Worship liturgies at our 10:15 service.  The Eucharistic Prayers expand our images of God's saving action in the world and through Jesus Christ.  We will also use Prayers of the People created by The Rev. Canon Cliff Carr, of our diocesan Music and Liturgy Commission, which connect our prayers more closely with the Scripture readings and themes of each Sunday.

Epiphany Service

Be a Star!

The Second Annual Epiphany Service, Thursday, January 6, 2011, at 5:30 p.m.  A half-hour service, followed by pizza and the King's Cake.

The Star led the wide men showing where they could find God's love born in a baby.  Between now and Epiphany, be a star and show God's love to someone.  It could be helping out at home, being friendly to someone at school or work who is lonely, giving a gift to someone in need, making a donation to help a child in Haiti or Kajo-Keji, writing a letter to someone who is sick ... there are all sorts of ways to be a star and show God's love.

At our service we will tell how we have been a star.  The wise men are waiting to see the star...
