Episcopal church women (ecw)
The ECW meets on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. at the church.
All ladies of the church are invited to join us at our meetings.
The ECW supports many of our outreach activities at Mediator and works in cooperation with the Outreach Commission to coordinate those activities.
A brief but hearty THANK
YOU! to any and all
who helped in any way (set-up, food, serving, clean-up) for the
reception following the funeral service for Bob Hartshorne! It is
a blessing to be a part of a congregation so willing to assist and to
do it so efficiently and thoroughly.
The Apple Dumpling Sale is once again a
success. Thank you to all who ordered dumplings, and to those who
have helped to make and
deliver the orders. Due to unforeseen circumstances the sale has
been conducted a bit differently than in past years and the number of
orders we could accommodate had to be reduced – but not by much,
thanks to the energy and determination of Dottie K.!
The 2012 Calendar Sale is well underway.
The Episcopal
Church Women are selling wall-size and pocket-size calendars ($6. each,
or one of each for $10.) Please see or call Carol C. to get
yours. They make wonderful last minute gifts, too!
You can make immediate use of your new
calendar(s) by marking the date of Sunday, December 11th for the Soup
Sampler Luncheon immediately
following the 10:15 service. There will be recipes and sign-up
sheets posted next to the elevator in the coming weeks. PLEASE
choose a recipe of your choice to make for the luncheon AND sign up to
attend. You can be on your way to do some last minute Christmas
shopping or on your way home to wrap those gifts you’ve already
purchased without having to worry about providing a hearty noon meal
for your family. Plan now to enjoy a warm bowl of homemade soup
(or two or three!) and wonderful fellowship on Dec. 11th.
