Dinner Group Potluck

We will again be starting up our strictly fellowship, adults only, dinner groups with a potluck meal at the church.  Please bring a dish and join us on Sunday, October 3 at 6:00 p.m., as we form our dinner groups for the coming year.  Each small group will then decide when and where to meet.  The host provides the main course for a simple meal and others in the group bring salad, dessert, etc.  The groups take turns meeting in each other's homes, or if your home is too small to accommodate a dinner party you can host your turn at the home of someone else in the group.  This is a great way to get to know other members of the parish or get to know better those that you already know slightly.  A good time is always had by all.  A sign-up sheet is posted by the elevator.  If you would like to join a group but can't make the initial meeting, sign up and just note that you won't be there on the 3rd and you will be assigned to a group.  Contact Bill or Sherry G. if you have any questions.

Time and Talent Auction and Dinner

Want to try something new for fun and entertainment?  Come join us on Saturday, November 20 for dinner and the Time and Talent Auction.  You may think you know your closest friends but wail till you find out what their talents really are!  Bidding can be fun and out bidding your neighbor is even more fun!  Dinner is at 5:30 and the Auction begins at 7:00.  Bring your friends, neighbors and relatives for a night of excitement.  All items donated should be dropped off at the Church on Saturday, Nov. 7.  The items for the silent auction (baked goods, small antiques, gift certificates, etc.) can be dropped off at the Church on Saturday the 20th.  Remember, it's BYOB!

Will the Coffee Pot be Empty?

Mediator parishioners have a long tradition of gathering in the Commons Room following the 10:15 service for coffee, juice, snacks and most importantly, fellowship. The job of making coffee, setting out the food and cleaning up is shared by all and rotated among the parish so that no one family has an uneven burden. Have you volunteered recently to host a coffee hour? You can use what is available in the kitchen pantry or bring snacks from home.  This is a great tradition; please help it continue; without you it cannot work!
